New Renault Megane Sport Tourer for Geneva

Renault Megane Sport Tourer GTRenault’s next-generation Megane Sport Tourer estate will make its first appearance at next week’s Geneva Motor Show – and it’s the GT performance version that will be on the stand.

Based on the new Megane, this all-new Sport Tourer has a modular interior with a choice of boot arrangements, as well as what’s claimed to be the segment’s longest maximum load length. The roof line is finished with matte-finish anodised aluminium roof bars – Dark Metal Colour on GT version – and the Megane Sport Tourer features a distinctive C-shaped lighting signature at the front.

The new MEGANE Sport Tourer GT bears a number of Renault Sport design cues such as the honeycomb mesh of the radiator grille – specific to this car – and the wide lower air inlet flanked by two air-scoops. At the rear, the new Megane Sport Tourer GT is fitted with a chromed exhaust tail pipe and a sculpted diffuser.

Renault says the new Megane Sport Tourer GT is the first C-segment Sport Tourer to benefit from 4CONTROL technology. Specifically tailored to the new Megane Sport Tourer, 4CONTROL is claimed to endow the car with “precise, dynamic handling on twisty roads and generates genuine driving pleasure.”
