Description

It’s a bumper month for new model debuts, with the DS 3 Crossback, Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class, Kia ProCeed Shooting Brake, facelifted Renault Kadjar and Ford Ranger Raptor all revealed in DieselCar, as well as the Mercedes-Benz EQC and Toyota Corolla Touring Sports in the EcoCar pages.

Our dedicated test team have been putting the new Audi Q8 through its paces, as well as the Jeep Cherokee, and on UK tarmac we’ve been driving the Ford Focus, facelifted Hyundai Tucson, the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe and the Vauxhall Combo Life. In November’s twin test, the BMW X2 challenges the Jaguar E-Pace – which one comes out top in the prestige baby SUV segment? We have On Test reports of the Skoda Kodiaq SportLine, the Range Rover Velar HSE D300 and the latest Volkswagen Polo diesel, as well as a first test of Mitsubishi’s updated Outlander PHEV, again on UK roads.

The youngest member of the test team, Sean Ward, has been learning to drive on ice in a variety of Skodas, and we’ve been up close and personal with a million-mile Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. Jeep’s Renegade is the headline act in this month’s used car buyer’s guide and we examine how easy it is to import a car from abroad.

There’s also Tuning News and Legal i – both making a return to Diesel Car after a period away – as well as all your favourites including Doctor Diesel, Marketplace, The Extra Mile, Buying, Maintaining and Selling, and the most up-to-date data section in the business.
