Audi launches multi-supplier one-card charging for e-tron models

With the help of the new e-tron Charging Service, owners of electrified Audi models can now plug and pay at hundreds of charge points across the UK and Europe with a single tap, and without being encumbered by subscriptions to numerous suppliers. The key to the new service is an RFID card that unlocks access to a sizeable network of charge points operated by 18 companies in the UK – including IONITY, Pod Point, Source London and Instavolt – as well as two attractive fixed tariffs and free roaming abroad, yet generates only one monthly invoice for carriers in the interest of simplicity.

Audi widens electric e-tron range for 2020

A second version of the Audi e-tron charged with opening up the benefits of the first fully electric Audi to a wider audience has been confirmed for series production and will launch in the UK in 2020.

The Audi e-tron SUV is now available to order in the UK today in two forms – e-tron and e-tron Launch Edition – priced at £71,490 and £82,240 respectively. The new five-seat SUV blazes a trail that will be followed by at least 11 more fully electric Audi models between now and 2025

Audi has been showing its new all-electric e-tron in Milton Keynes, one of four key locations chosen by the UK Government to spearhead vehicle emissions reduction initiatives as part of its Go Ultra Low Cities programme.
