Plug-in Jeep Wrangler 4xe combines all-wheel drive and electric tech

Jeep has launching a plug-in hybrid version of the Wrangler, the Wrangler 4xe. The Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid is equipped with two electric motor generators and a high-voltage battery pack, with a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine and the proven TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.

Free vibrant paint upgrades for the Jeep Wrangler

Jeep is offering free paint upgrades to anyone who chooses a vibrant colour when purchasing a Wrangler “to help positively lift drivers’ spirits”. The offer applies to a range of Wrangler colours including Firecracker red, Punk’n metallic orange, HellaYella yellow and Bikini metallic blue.

Plug-in hybrid Jeep Renegade from £32,600

The new Renegade 4xe will be the first electrified Jeep model to reach the UK. The Renegade 4xe can be driven on 100 per cent electric thanks to a 11.4 kWh battery paired with a 59 bhp electric motor, to ensure a range of 26mph and zero tailpipe emissions in full-electric mode. With two electric motors featuring Powerloop, all-wheel drive is always available to tackle off-road work
