Renault is announcing a new line-up for its Clio, Captur and Mégane ranges, with the option of three trim levels – Play, Iconic and GT Line – available on each model. The company says the new line-up symbolises its EasyLife philosophy – simplifying choice and offering improved specification whilst offering a visually appealing vehicle at every price point and reducing prices to offer even better value.
The recently introduced Renault Mégane range has gained a new flagship model with the launch of the GT dCi 165 Auto EDC. Available in both hatchback and Sport Tourer bodystyles, Renault says the new twin-turbo engine is the most powerful 1.6-litre diesel available on the market today with power and torque outputs of 163 BHP and 280 ft lb respectively
The all-new Renault Mégane Sport Tourer will be available to order in the UK from 1st December, with customer deliveries taking place later that month
After revealing the latest Mégane hatch in 2015 and latest Mégane Sport Tourer in March 2016, Renault has introduced a new Mégane Grand Coupé but the UK is not on the initial list of countries in which the new models will be sold.
Renault’s fourth-generation Megane is now available to order and will arrive in UK showrooms from July. Unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Megane will be priced from £16,600, with diesels starting at £17,900.
Renault’s next-generation Megane Sport Tourer estate will make its first appearance at next week’s Geneva Motor Show – and it’s the GT performance version that will be on the stand.
When it comes to safety, the new Mégane shares the benefits of the same Common Module Family (CMF) platform as the Kadjar crossover.
