Toyota has announced order book opening dates and prices for two new models that will swell its range of SUVs in the New Year: RAV4 Plug-in, the first plug-in hybrid version of the world’s best-selling SUV, and the all-new Highlander Hybrid, the first version of the large SUV to be sold in the UK.
Toyota’s hybrid electric technology makes the new RAV4 Plug-in the most powerful version of the world’s best-selling SUV yet. The new model is due for UK launch in 2021. The new plug-in hybrid system sets electric power as the vehicle’s default running mode.
Toyota has announced a new RAV4 special edition. The new RAV4 Hybrid Black Edition has a one-colour treatment with the Galaxy Black bodywork accompanied by a matching black front grille, lower grille and bumpers, door mirror casings, skid plates, rear garnish and spoiler, nineteen-inch gloss black alloy wheels.
Toyota has revealed the all-new, fifth generation RAV4 SUV at the New York International Auto Show. It is the first RAV4 to be built on a Toyota New Global Architecture platform.
