Skoda Karoq Scout set for Paris launch
Skoda is expanding the Skoda Karoq series: With the new Skoda Karoq Scout, the Czech car manufacturer will be presenting a more rugged variant of the popular compact SUV series in October at the Paris Motor Show 2018. As with all Skoda Scout models, the Karoq Scout comes with four-wheel drive as standard in addition to sporting a powerful off-road look.
New V6 diesel Mercedes X-Class goes on sale
The new V6 X 350d 4MATIC is now available from £38,350 excl. VAT, with first deliveries expected in November 2018. All UK vehicles are doublecab, with 4MATIC permanent all-wheel-drive and Dynamic Select, 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission. Mercedes says they benefit from a wide track, long wheelbase and comfort suspension, coupled with a double wishbone front axle, multi-link rear axle with a rigid section, and coil springs at both axles
The new face of Vauxhall
After being part of Groupe PSA for one year, Vauxhall has revealed a further teaser image of its GT X Experimental brand concept for the mid-2020s. The company says it will embrace its core values – British, Ingenious, Progressive and Approachable – and provide a template for the future design of its production cars.
Mazda updates CX-5 diesels and adds petrol automatics
Mazda has updated its CX-5 SUV with revisions to the 2.2-litre SKYACTIV-D diesel engine, increased active safety equipment across the range and the introduction of automatic petrol models for the first time. Launched in June 2017, the second-generation CX-5 followed the original CX-5 – a car that introduced Mazda’s SKYACTIV technology and KODO: Soul of Motion design philosophy.
