Vauxhall has revealed the second generation of the Mokka with electric drive. “New Mokka is the start of a new direction for the Vauxhall Brand. Vauxhall continues the electrification of its product portfolio with the all-electric, flagship variant of the Vivaro Life, which is available with up to nine seats and in two lengths. Most versions of the Vivaro-e Life are less than 1.90 metres high and can therefore access typical underground garages – important for hotel shuttles. The option of a trailer hitch enables the Vivaro-e Life to tow trailers with a maximum capacity of 1,000kg.

Citroën continues its electrification offensive in 2020 and has now published the first images of the new all-electric ë-C4 and the new C4. There is a choice of electric, petrol or Diesel powertrains. The all-electric new ë-C4 and new C4 will be presented in detail on Tuesday 30 June.
The DS Automobiles electric range is being extended to include a new plug-in hybrid DS 7 Crossback E-TENSE 225 model. It features the pairing of a 178 bhp (221 ft lb) petrol engine and 108 bhp (236 ft lb) electric motor combined with front-wheel drive transmission and a 13.2kWh rechargeable battery. The DS 7 Crossback E-TENSE 225 comes with DS Active Scan suspension (intelligent camera-controlled suspension) as standard, as well as front and rear laminated glass for comfort and sound-proofing.

Ford has announced new “rough-road-capable” Trail and Active variants for the Transit and Tourneo ranges, available to order now for delivery in late summer. The new Transit Trail and Transit Custom Trail models have been designed specifically to operate in tougher working environments, with the enhanced traction of a new mechanical limited-slip differential (mLSD) on front-wheel drive Transit and Transit Custom variants, and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive on the Transit.
Dacia is the first manufacturer to offer LPG versions across the range, available direct from the factory. LPG versions of Dacia Duster, Sandero and Logan MCV models are now available, badged TCe 100 Bi-Fuel. All use a new 1.0-litre turbocharged dual-fuel powertrain, combining petrol and LPG capabilities and claimed to deliver superior torque in LPG mode.
SEAT is refreshing the Ateca with the introduction of the 2020 version. According to the company, the revamped vehicle “will build on its SUV attributes, adding a refreshed and more emotional appearance both inside and outside, a fully connected user experience, improved levels of safety, comfort and efficiency”.
