Mazda’s new 5 is set to make an impact when it makes its world debut at the Geneva motor show in March
The all-new model features an evolution of Mazda’s Karakuri seating system with room for seven in the spacious MPV cabin. The eye-catching exterior adopts many of the styling cues from its baby brother, the Mazda3, with a similar large gaping mouth-like grille. Like its predecessor, the Mazda5 will feature sliding side doors. At present, only the petrol engine line-up has been revealed, but it is expected that a range of 2.2-litre turbodiesel units will be available from the Mazda3 and Mazda6 line-ups, when the new car goes on sale later this year.
