It has been 200 years since Jean-Pierre Peugeot and Jean-Frédéric Peugeot first turned their father’s cereal mill into a metal works and launched Peugeot into the manufacturing world
And now, while celebrating the brand’s 200th anniversary, a new Lion badge, a new tagline – Peugeot: Motion & Emotion, and a new styling direction has been revealed. And if that isn’t enough, a brand new concept car has been revealed for the first time. The Lion emblem, has been linked with Peugeot products since 1858, and has had various incarnations throughout the life of the brand. The latest iteration is much simpler in design, but is bolder and has a bimetallic look, thanks to the use of both matt and polished finishes. The first production car to reveal the new look emblem will be the Peugeot RCZ, on sale later this year. In time, all of the company’s dealerships will adopt the new Lion motif.
