Toyota began 2013 with a busy month that saw the Japanese manufacturer unveil an all-new RAV4 as well as an Auris Verso. The RAV4 was priced from £22,595 and was offered with two diesel engine options, either 2.0 or 2.2 litre D-4D, while the Verso feature a three model range, but only one diesel – the 2.0 D4-D.
Citroen offered buyers of its popular C3 Picasso mini MPV a January saving, shaving £205 off the price of the entry-level model. Citroen also took the opportunity to upgrade the car’s mechanicals with a more powerful 1.6 HDi engine. Inside, the car gained new interior options and Citroen’s eMyWay sat nav.
BMW gave buyers of their new cars improved in-car entertainment as the firm opted to make DAB radio standard across its entire range. It was widely expected that as with TV signals, the switch from analogue to digital would begin in earnest, however as of 2015 the date for the big switchover has yet to be confirmed and plenty of manufacturers continue to offer an old school AM/FM radio
