Autoquake expands in London

Autoquake.com, the UK’s largest online used car supermarket, is continuing its rapid growth with the launch of a new handover centre in Southall, London.

“We’re delighted to open the doors to our new London site,” said the company’s CEO, Dermot Halpin. “A third of our customers come from the London area. Now these car buyers can enjoy the same low prices right on their door step.”

The London handover centre is easy to reach from anywhere in or around the capital. Urban Londoners can just jump on a train from Paddington, it only takes 15 minutes to Southall Station, and for those who choose to drive it’s conveniently located three miles from junction three of the M4.

Buying a car from Autoquake is also simple: customers go online and choose from one of the hundreds of cars in stock, they then reserve the car they want online or over the phone, after which they can arrange an appointment to have a close look and to take a test drive. Alternatively, Autoquake’s customers can choose the convenience of home delivery. Either way, buyers will have the peace of mind of Autoquake’s 141 point quality check and our 7-day money back guarantee.

“Facilities at the site include a technical workshop, where every car is thoroughly checked and prepared. Over 40 photos of each car are taken in a specially designed photographic studio. These are uploaded to Autoquake.com so customers can see exactly what they are buying before visiting the handover centre.

The London site has already welcomed its first customer, Dan Clifton-Climas from Swindon. Dan collected an 2007 Ford Focus 2.0 TDCi Titanium 5dr priced at £7,671, saving over 10 per cent of the Parkers Franchised Dealer price.*

“I’ve been really impressed by Autoquake. It was a really easy buy. Loads of information, no pressure and you know exactly what you’re buying and at what price,” said Dan.

Dermot Halpin expects the London handover centre to contribute to a bright future for the company: “It’s an exciting time for everyone at Autoquake. We have more cars for sale than ever before, but still at the same low prices. Car buyers are really embracing internet shopping, and our new London site means Autoquake.com is ready to meet the increasing demand for quality used cars online.”
