The new system allows customers to locate their nearest participating Bosch Car Service garage and book their vehicle in for their chosen service or MOT.
Howard Price, Concept Manager at Bosch Car Service, said: “For many customers, the internet is already the preferred way to search for goods and services. Our new, carefully constructed online booking tool combines convenience and ease-of-use to help ensure that getting a car serviced is an easy and hassle-free experience.”
Customers can book a range of different services through the website, including a Gold, Silver or Bronze service, an MOT and various other repair jobs. The system also shows customers the cost they will be expected to pay for each service they have booked.
“This ensures a transparent approach to quoting and pricing,” continued Howard. “A recent survey* that we conducted on consumers’ perceptions towards car servicing showed that ‘being charged too much money’ at garages was peoples’ biggest concern. We want to reassure our customers that, at Bosch Car Service, our charges are always fair and transparent, which is why our new system works out what they should expect to pay.”
The fast-growing network, which consists of over 500 independent garages across the UK, was set up by household name, Bosch, in 2003 to provide motorists with alternative, high-quality vehicle servicing and repair. Garages that are part of our network receive advantages such as access to training courses and keeping up-to-date with the latest information and equipment.
“99% of Bosch Car Service customers would recommend our garages to a friend,” continued Howard. “But we want to continue to improve the overall customer experience, which is why we have introduced this new system and we will be constantly developing it based on our customer feedback.”
