The figures produced by the ‘Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders’ (SMMT) show that Citroën’s LCV registration figures were up by an impressive 27.06% in September 2013, more than double the growth of the overall LCV market. Citroën’s LCV sales for the first three quarters of 2013 were 18,394 – to give a market share for the January to September period of 8.97% – an increase of 25.91% compared to the same period in 2012.

The Berlingo has performed impressively, to take 1st place in the up to 2.5 tonne gvw sector, outselling strong competition from the VW Caddy, Ford Transit Connect, the new Vauxhall Combo and others in this hotly contested segment. Another of our strong performers is the Dispatch which, with sales up no less than 35%, has shown strong growth in a market sector that is becoming increasingly important.”
