MINI Clubman goes all-wheel drive

MINI CLubman ALL4MINI has launched the all-new MINI Clubman ALL4 – the first all-wheel drive model in its family of smaller cars. Previously, the ALL4 all-wheel drive system has only been offered on the larger MINI Countryman range. The Clubman ALL4 will also be the first ALL4 model to be built at the UK MINI Plant in Oxford.

Two versions are available – the MINI Cooper S Clubman ALL4 and the diesel-engined MINI Cooper SD Clubman ALL4.

The new MINI Cooper SD Clubman ALL4 features a 2.0-litre 187 hp diesel engine with 295 lb/ft of torque – the most powerful diesel ever fitted to a MINI – which is paired with MINI’s 8-speed Steptronic transmission as standard. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 58.9 mpg with CO2 emissions of 126 g/km. Acceleration from rest to 62 mph comes up in 7.2 seconds, while top speed is 138 mph. The new car meets the latest EU6 emissions standards.

The MINI Clubman ALL4 has sat nav as standard, as well as the MINI Excitement Package, which features a projection of the brand logo on to the ground beneath the driver’s side door mirror when the car is opened and closed.

Prices for the MINI Cooper SD Clubman ALL4 190 Auto 126 start at £27,410. Production has started at MINI Plant Oxford, with first deliveries to MINI retailers expected in April.
