More equipment for fleet-friendly Volvo S60 and V60

Volvo Car UK is increasing its offering of fleet-friendly S60 and V60 models with the introduction of the Business Edition Lux variant. Replicating the Lux upgrade already available on Volvo’s SE, R-Design and Cross Country variants, the Business Edition Lux provides added luxury for the S60 and V60 models.

The Business Edition variants currently account for 29 per cent of total S60/V60 sales, while almost half of Volvo’s end-user business sales for the S60 and V60 were for the Business Edition in 2016.

The standard S60/V60 Business Edition is equipped with a host of executive perks, including City Safety autonomous emergency braking, Sensus Connect with satellite navigation, DAB radio and Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control, cruise control and LED daytime running lights.

The Lux package brings 17-inch Rodinia alloy wheels, while the interior gets leather upholstery along with Piano Black inlays and an active information display, which presents the most important information to the driver. As well as these upgrades, the S60/V60 Business Edition Lux also benefits from a rear parking camera.

Selwyn Cooper, Head of Business Sales for Volvo Car UK, said: “At Volvo, we always listen to our customers to ensure our products and services make people’s lives easier, safer and more convenient. While our S60 and V60 Business Edition versions strike the perfect balance between class-leading safety, connectivity, power and efficiency, as a result of customer feedback, we found there was a demand to include a variant that added a further element of luxury.

“With the BIK advantages of low CO2 emissions and their excellent fuel consumption, the Business Editions are already high on the choice lists of many companies. Following the addition of the Lux variant, the S60 and V60 become even more compelling for our customers.”

The D2 diesel versions of both attract a BIK tax rate of just 22 per cent.
