Peugeot and Disney have teamed up for the first time for a European marketing campaign which will include a drive to Dealership promotion, supported with bespoke TV, print, in-dealer and online activity to celebrate the ‘Toy Story 3’ cinema release and the subsequent DVD and Blu Ray releases. A highlight of the campaign is a ‘Toy Story 3’ Peugeot TV commercial which will run on a multi-platform basis across Europe featuring Peugeot’s award-winning 5008 MPV and Woody, the famous cowboy from the film. The commercial shows a family arriving home in their Peugeot 5008, but when Woody forgets his hat in the car fun ensues, bringing both car and character to life. The animation was made possible due to a unique collaboration between the Peugeot and Disney.Pixar creative teams who teamed up to develop the storyline, strong characterisation and humour that movie-lovers will recognise from the ‘Toy Story’ series.
The commercial screens on 1st July in the UK and 2nd July in France and Germany. The tie-up was welcomed by Ollie Griffin, Manager, Brand Advertising at Peugeot who commented: “Peugeot is delighted to be working with a like-minded family brand such as Disney. ‘Toy Story 3’ looks set to be this Summer’s blockbuster movie and we believe the campaign will really capture the imagination of our customers.”

There will be other exciting on-the-spot prizes on offer too.
