Description

It’s one of the biggest selling issues of the year, where we announce the winners in our annual Top 50 used car countdown. As we reveal the cream of the crop in the used car market, we tell you about the best buys in every category of secondhand motors.

We have news of the second-generation Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, the new Vauxhall Vivaro Life and an update on revival plans for Jaguar Land Rover and Ford, and in EcoCar we have the first information on Nissan’s new longer-range Leaf, as well as Infiniti’s new electric SUV and the Porsche and Volkswagen fast chargers.

Audi’s new A6 tackles battles the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in this month’s twin test, and the cover proudly announces our first drive of the new Skoda Kodiaq vRS. Ford’s facelifted Edge Vignale is put through its paces, and we’ve tested both the Vauxhall Combo Life XL and the Citroën Berlingo XL. Vauxhall’s Crossland X with new 1.5-litre BlueInjection engine is driven and we’ve been behind the wheel of the Honda Civic 1.6 i-DTEC automatic and Skoda’s Superb SportLine Plus. In EcoCar, our testers were thrilled to test the Volkswagen up! GTI – the sportiest sub-110g/km petrol car on sale.

We’ve got an interesting feature on young driver tuition and some surprising clarification on driving while vaping which surprised the entire Diesel Car & Eco Car team. There are also all your favourites including Doctor Diesel, Marketplace, The Extra Mile, Buying, Maintaining and Selling, and the most up-to-date data section in the business.
