Five-star Euro NCAP rating for the new Renault Clio

The new Renault Clio has received the coveted 5-stars rating in the latest Euro NCAP safety tests. Groupe Renault’s best-selling model has been tested according to the new stringent protocol launched in 2018. It is the 22nd Groupe Renault vehicle to receive the maximum rating of five stars.

Top Euro NCAP rating for the 2018 Mazda6

The new 2018 Mazda6 has been awarded the maximum five star rating by Euro NCAP in its latest series of tests. This is the first Mazda to achieve an overall five star rating under the new, more stringent 2018 Euro NCAP crashworthiness ratings.

Hyundai NEXO fuel cell electric vehicle scores top Euro NCAP rating

Hyundai Motor has received the maximum five-star overall rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP), the independent vehicle assessment organisation, for the all-new NEXO. Hyundai’s second-generation fuel cell electric vehicle demonstrated its high active and passive safety in all four Euro NCAP rating categories.

Top Euro NCAP results for Volvo XC40 and Ford Focus

Euro NCAP has released the safety ratings of two new cars. Both Volvo’s new small off-roader, the XC40, and the latest version of Ford’s Focus, achieve a maximum five-star rating. The XC40 scored 97 percent for adult occupant protection, putting it amongst the top five cars for this aspect of safety tested by Euro NCAP in the last three years.

Top safety ratings for the new Nissan Leaf

The European New Car Assessment Programme has awarded the new Nissan Leaf a 5-star rating. The Leaf is the first car to be assessed against Euro NCAP’s improved and extended protocols for 2018.  The 2018 protocol sees the introduction of a raft of new tests which address key crash scenarios involving cars, pedestrians and now also the growing number of cyclists.
