Taxi-maker LEVC starts UK electric van production

LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) has started production of its new electric van, VN5.  The new model is designed, engineered and manufactured at LEVC’s award-winning production plant in Ansty, Coventry, which the company describes as the UK’s only dedicated electric vehicle factory.

LEVC produces first prototype electric vans in Coventry

The first prototypes of the new van from London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) are now being built at the company’s state-of-the-art factory in Ansty, Coventry, ahead of its debut at this year’s CV show on the 28th April. LEVC says the due to the advanced manufacturing flexibility of the LEVC factory, it has been possible to build these verification prototypes on the same line, fully integrated with current TX production.
