The new Mercedes-Benz EQC 4MATIC is now available to order, with prices starting at £65,640 for the EQC 400 4MATIC Sport. The EQC is the first fully-electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz’s new EQ brand. It is powered by an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery which has a range of 259 miles (WLTP) and an output of 402 bhp and 564 ft lb of torque. It can travel from 0 to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 111 mph.
It was at the 2016 Paris Motor Show that Mercedes‑Benz first presented its new product and technology brand for electromobility. In mid-2019 the time has now come: the EQC (combined power consumption: 22.2 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km) is the first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to be launched under the EQ brand. There are two electric motors at the front and rear axles with a combined output of 300 kW. What is described as a sophisticated operating strategy enables an electric range of more than 450 km (about 280 miles) according to NEDC (provisional figure).
