Renault EV sales in Europe hit 300,000

Renault has sold more than 300,000 electric vehicles across Europe. The first Renault electric vehicle was launched in 2010, and there has been continuous sales growth year on year. Over 100,000 Zoe models have been sold in France alone. A strong first half of 2020 resulted in sales of the new Zoe increasing by almost 50 per cent compared with the same time period last year with 37,540.

Southampton City Council goes electric with Renault

The all-electric Renault Kangoo Z.E.33 is set to help Southampton City Council (SCC) clean up in its drive to make the city a healthier, greener and more sustainable environment. The Council has taken delivery of 24 zero-emissions-in-use Renault Kangoo Z.E.33 Panel Vans, which will be used in the upkeep of the City and contribute to its goal of 90 per cent of its fleet to be zero-emission by 2030.

Renault expands Kangoo Z.E. electric van line-up

Renault Pro+ has announced the addition of the Business+ trim level to the Kangoo Z.E. electric van range. Based on the existing Business trim, the Business+ brings a host of upgrades and equipment designed to deliver enhanced comfort and convenience for drivers. The Kangoo Z.E. enjoyed a 217 per cent increase in volume in 2019 compared with the previous year, representing a 30.15 per cent share of the electric van market.

Renault Zoe production tops 50,000

Renault says the 50,000th example of its Zoe electric car has rolled off the production line at its specialist plant at Flins. The milestone vehicle was sold to a French buyer from Saint Cloud, Paris.
