MG is now offering its EV customers a full service plan from just £6 a month. “Our mobile phones are paid monthly. Our favourite boxset streaming service is paid monthly. So why pay for your car’s servicing any differently?,” said MG’s Head of Aftersales, Harvey France. “Owners can now spread their running costs with our new pay monthly service plans from MG”.
LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) has significantly grown its authorised service and maintenance network by signing a partnership with one of the UK’s largest end-to-end fleet management companies, Rivus Fleet Solutions. These additional 20 authorised service centres join LEVC’s existing 17 sites, increasing the British brand’s existing UK network to 37 locations by the end of October. Each authorised site will be able to carry out servicing, maintenance, general repairs and MoTs for LEVC TX taxi as well as its new electric van, VN5.
Vauxhall has announced a new initiative across its national service and repair network intended to position its retailers as “go-to” outlets for parts and service, while offering prices it says would normally only seen in the aftermarket sector. The services are offered under the Vauxhall Fixed Price Repairs banner.
Customers who buy a new Fiat can benefit from a new fixed-price service plan from FCA’s aftersales business, Mopar. For £199, on top of the purchase price, Fiat customers can take advantage of the Easy Care service plan, which covers all planned maintenance for their vehicle over a three-year period or up to a mileage limitation.
The difficulty that comes in trying to find a reliable garage for your car can seem like a futile, on-going struggle for many motorists. The venture can seem even more taxing when you are in need of a place that handles diesel engines specifically.
