Vehicle recall – smart fortwo and forfour – 2018 to 2019

The fortwo and forfour has been recalled by smart under reference R/2020/195 (SRS2001), as the software for the advanced emergency braking system may not meet the correct specification.

The electric drive version of the current smart range is now on sale, with prices starting from £16,420 for the two-seater smart fortwo electric drive (including OLEV grant of £4,500; total price £20,920 excluding grant)
