Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Black edition arrives in October

Toyota has announced a new RAV4 special edition. The new RAV4 Hybrid Black Edition has a one-colour treatment with the Galaxy Black bodywork accompanied by a matching black front grille, lower grille and bumpers, door mirror casings, skid plates, rear garnish and spoiler, nineteen-inch gloss black alloy wheels.

Suzuki has launched the new Across, which it describes as “a robust and sporty SUV equipped with a sophisticated Plug-in Hybrid system and E-Four electronic 4×4, delivering uncompromising performance and efficiency with the capability and styling of a full-fledged modern SUV”.ation under the collaborative business agreement between Toyota and Suzuki. Sales are set to start in Autumn of 2020 in Europe.

Beefy new 2.8 diesel spearheads Toyota Hilux upgrades

Toyota is renewing its Hilux pick-up with design changes, a powerful 2.8-litre powertrain, improvements in on and off-road driving performance and equipment upgrades. Toyota says that these changes “strengthen its appeal to the growing market for customers who need a vehicle that’s right for both business and leisure”.

Toyota to launch seven-seater Highlander hybrid SUV in the UK

Highlander, Toyota’s largest hybrid SUV, is to go on sale in the UK and Western Europe for the first time, from early 2021. It will be offered exclusively with a full hybrid powertrain and will extend Toyota’s hybrid SUV line-up in the region, joining the established D-segment RAV4 and C-segment C-HR and the new B-segment Yaris Cross that will also be introduced next year.

Toyota shows next-generation hydrogen-fuelled Mirai saloon

Toyota introduced the hydrogen-powered Mirai saloon in 2014. Now it is getting ready to take its advanced zero emission fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) technology to new heights with the second generation model. The Mirai has a driving range of around 300 miles, easy refuelling in a matter of minutes and no emissions other than pure water. Since launch, around 10,000 Mirai have been sold; at the same time, Toyota has actively supported the development of hydrogen fuel infrastructure in key markets.
