New more economical engines for Transit Connect

Ford Transit Connect customers can now benefit from improved fuel economy and lower emissions by choosing the new 1.8-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi engine 89bhp or 109bhp option that exceeds the new Euro Stage V emission requirements.

Volkswagen sets out Commercial Vehicle plans

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are presenting five world innovations at the IAA Commercial Vehicles Fair, among them a new variant of the Volkswagen Amarok, which has successfully secured its place on the market. The markets are on a course set for growth, with worldwide deliveries to customers rising by the end of August 2010 by 18.1 percent, to 269,800 light commercial vehicles.

Vauxhall's stop-start Corsavan

On sale now, the new Corsavan ecoFLEX is the first Vauxhall commercial vehicle to feature Start/Stop technology, enabling the new Euro 5-compliant 1.3 CDTi (74bhp) models to achieve 70.6mpg – a near 8mpg, or more than 12 per cent improvement – on the combined cycle over the previous Euro 4 model.
